Zip Code Distance and Radius Tools for MS Excel

Using our software, you can now calculate the number of miles between addresses stored in an Excel spreadsheet, or get a list of zip codes that are in a given radius of a target zip code.

What you get

When you install Spheresoft Zip Code Tools, we add the following functions to your copy of Excel based on an internal database of zipcode latitude and longitude:

ZipCodeDistance(zip1, zip2) returns the number of miles between two zipcodes in the United States. The format of the zipcodes can be 5 digit or zip+4, and don't worry if Excel dropped the leading 0, we'll handle it.

ZipCodesWithinDistance(zipcode, distance) returns a list of zipcodes that are within a radius of the target zipcode. The zipcodes are sorted so the closest zipcode is listed first.

ZipCodesInListWithinDistance(zipcode, zipcodelist, distance) like the above, it will find zip codes within a radius from a given zip code, but this function will limit the search to zip codes you specify. The best way to match customers to branches or leads to salespeople.
